I agree this is an absolutely crucial process for the whole nation. So they have to get it perfectly right and precise with production amount, timeline and the role which IDT can cater for. There are clearly added challenges and complexities in regards to the choices available ( is Pfizer an option?, if it is possible that could be huge in current circumstances and it’s ramifications for CSL). However, I believe the feasibility study is more about fine tuning and not actually running the batches of vaccines ( possible, but that’s for granted; it’s more about determining the scale and turnover over time). Despite all of the above conundrums, I believe the announcement is imminent, either Friday or coming Monday, given the criticism faced by the health team and Government. Next big thing is how the SP is going to react given the multitude of possibilities.
