That’s the nature of a convertible note as far as I’m aware, can be successful if managed correctly. Take this notice as an example, they have averaged just under $7.80 per share and the share price is over $8. So at this stage it hasn’t been detrimental, I’m sure they would be hopeful of price sensitive news to put some volume into the market on a rising share price.
