Definitely been shorted look at the 605 the words “in kind” would mean shares returned to them - but of course you need to figure all this stuff out yourself as no one wants punters to know that the etfs actively lend their stocks to earn income/divs while being lent, they promote this fact as a way to “cover costs” ironic really. Volume days on 19/3 and 17/9 were large. According to gdxj they still own 47mm deg. I guess my learning from this is smart money making hay off index holders who generally have no idea their holdings are being shorted. Nothing to see here.
