When a company dilutes its shareholding to fund the necessary steps to producing the BFS it is not uncommon for the share price to dip below the issue price for the new shares for a short time. I can assure you that it is not because the buyers of the new shares are selling any of them. The subscribers are looking for the value of the shares to go up over time and they will be expecting at least a doubling of the amount that they put in. I am surprised that in this case it took as long as it did for the price to dip below the issue price.
Our friend who owns no shares may want to own shares in DEG once again but if the price should fall to 50 cents a share I would speculate that he would hesitate thinking that it could halve yet again and miss out entirely.
