they are an index fund. They stopped doing mandates for pension funds… hence the shares transferred to a new fund manager who offers index mandates. You’ll note this is generally Blackrock who now are sub holders and most large caps… basic stuff here you’re not understanding. Neither own the shares, they are fund managers for investors, mainly index funds with pension funds.
