Damn, I feel for the guys who bought at 75c. Bottom is a little while off, but should settle down at about 25-30c IMO in the new year.
And yeah, there's an agreement with Alcoa to fund a demo plant, but without offtakes afterwards, it's knackers time. The problem is that everyone has this idea that FYI is a leader. It's not. A4N has done the pilot plant and made the product qualification batches. FYI is yet to get round to this, so it's plodding along and will take time to get this all done.
And if anyone's wondering...COVID tax is going to hold everything back. Long lead times in labs, for equipment, etc etc. I reckon, and this is just an opinion, that if one were to be investing in chemical sector and specialty materials, it would be for the long haul, because this will take a while to get off the ground.
