So you didn't sell at $1.40? and buy back in in the 0.80s then sell again.
It's hard to be a school boy rugby player (me) scrimmaging with professionals but that's what it is. Somebody sold at a profit and have other i to put their hard earned into.......what's wrong with that. Are you going to hold WAF forever? No just don't be a bag holder.
Personally I think WAF has good 2-3 yr future - short term there is political risk in BF from simmering Islamic insurgency and with WAFS cash going into bringing Toega and Kiaka into production the market is pretty meh about them ( i.e. lets go elsewhere for a year or two and come back on the cusp of production doubling).
2-3yrs ago they had their big run 20c to todays prices. 500% return. Now it is pip trading on localised 10-30% gains. Nice little earner- with potential for another 100-200% on the back of a TO, higher gold prices or a big new discovery. Some people prefer the higher risk metric companies possible Disallowed vs 70% loss of capital to what WAF offer.
"A Fox one day spied a beautiful bunch of ripe grapes hanging from a vine trained along the branches of a tree. The grapes seemed ready to burst with juice, and the Fox’s mouth watered as he gazed longingly at them.
The bunch hung from a high branch, and the Fox had to jump for it. The first time he jumped he missed it by a long way. So he walked off a short distance and took a running leap at it, only to fall short once more. Again and again he tried, but in vain. Now he sat down and looked at the grapes in disgust.
“What a fool I am,” he said. “Here I am wearing myself out to get a bunch of sour grapes that are not worth gaping for.”
And off he walked very, very scornfully."
