price12/5 SP 8.64 Shorts 21,682 So price went down but sorters bought over 400,000 shares which was major considering only 3.5 M shares traded they slowed the drop a lot. even though most people on this board love to blame sorters because they do not want to do the research to understand what is going on. The fact remains they are allowed because they help stabilize large swings in the price.

Phatom8 Yes disclosure rules are delayed 4 market days. But they are same as those for you and me. Would you realy want each of your trades to be Identified with your name? where would you draw the line? Only owners with more than 5% of shares are identified After they reach 5% they have to report every time there is a 1% change in their holdings including all transactions since last report. This seems fine to me. i do not want to do reports!!! It would become a logistical night mare if small holders had to report. Increasing brokers fees and expenses to the company. Be careful what you wish for you may hate it when it happens. Do some thinking and research before saying what is wrong with the system.
