Gold cannot be allowed to rise, including the shares, especially in the current economic climate, after all, the west is bankrupt.
If gold is introduced into the Brics currency or the yuan backed by gold, It seems increasingly likely that gold mines will be nationalised, hence the shorting going on in the sector.
Australian legislation also allows the confiscation of gold, I hope not!
