Yep state street borrowing and returning shares to enable shorting IMO is the way I read it. . They sure as hell aren't doing it for the dividend stripping. Quick look and 8 mill short is a big punt late last year? Interesting either the short is finished or lenders have called the shares back and dreaming of some franking on a divvy?
Has to be leveraged pairs or synthetics and options being done here as STO price is not mirroring the underlying commodity market at all .
Will they reload again afterwards?
