Coby hasn't sold the story to Instos who could have underpinned the SP at say $4 or $5. Rather, the Instos who bought in only bought in on the short side! Oops, ahh well, what can you do!
Meanwhile, retail holders with small holdings get hit and prophesy about the shorters getting burnt while those sophisticated investors invest tens of millions on the SP going down and staying down. Hopefully those who jeered at the shorters when we were <4% of shorts and >$4 have learnt to respect the Instos and their staff. You wouldn't tell a doctor how to do their job would you?
November roadshow might help us out. ASX200/300 removal might not.
