Agree Brentb IMEC are an R&D organization and they would be happy for 4DS to succeed and be part of that if they do, but if 4DS fail its no loss for IMEC and discoveries made during collaboration may go on to progress another company and further advance technology. (IP brought cheap of 4DS if it Fails). NDA is a smoke screen as they have released information that they regarded as covered by NDA previously. We had months and months of debate around cell size, 4DS wouldn't comment, then oh yeah we have built chip on IMEC standard platform 60nm. 4DS only release info that is good, anything not great cannot be commented on, but they never say NDA when asked only can't comment. I doubt IMEC will ever confirm 4DS specifications as buyer would want info kept secret.
For me this is still a big risk but will see it to the end, reduced my holding after PL3 then averaged down a bit more.
Looking forward to see what 4DS's new employee brings to the table and that this doesn't drag on for to many years.
