While this may be true regarding Appen, I can't see Australia fund managers being responsible for the $2.2billion worth of shorts on PLS.
It seems to me US companies, as well as Chinese are allowed to come and plunder our shores. Real estate, Businesses, Farm land, Ports, etc. Short turn gain for long term pain.
