Interesting but by no means unusual , and an observation nonetheless , but the OTC was very interesting to look at. Especially when all other lithium players were mostly down . And some of the larger ones like Albemarle et al more than others. However going against the trend was SYAXF and of course Piedmont. With respect to the OTC counter , it was interesting in that the volumes which was almost 3 times the average daily volumes for the last 30 days was rather benign except for the fact that it was Canaccord Genuity ( our Broker on numerous occasions .... ) ...., who was sitting on the offer at 2.6 cents with this massive sell order of 940,099 when all other orders were in the parcel sizes of 10 - 20 thousand including their own BUY order at 2.55 cents.

So then late in the afternoon , this ' capper was eaten into with first a couple of nibbles at 10,000 each and then a couple of successive larger orders over 200,000 amounting to a total of 533,249 got smashed at that price point. So this started at around 3:18 pm through to the further 50,000 which went through at 3;30:13 pm and another 100,000 at 3:39:13 pm ...., leaving Canaccord with 387,850 of its original 900 thousand odd and another smaller order of 10,000 ahead of it on the close.

So again , the set up looks interesting if our own broker sees a need to ' Cap ' the OTC price , and where you don't see them participating transparently at that level normally. Normally , they are just in the market sitting way outside the bids and offer market making prices with relatively small parcels.
