I always find it fascinating to read these significant seller notices. The company has posted two notices today, with both being Top 5 holders.
For those interested in corporate governance, the party selling in this notice, Gatej Pty Ltd, is listed as the Top 4 shareholder in the Barton Top 20:The party selling in the other notice posted today is the Top2 holder: Six Fingers Pty Ltd, who are Mining Plus. Mining Plus are listed in Barton announcements as the entity who do the resource work for Barton.
The postal address is the same for all of the 3 substantial sellers, who are selling, being the Top 2, Top 3 and Top4 holders:
* Suite 21, 22 Railway St, Subiaco WA 6008
namely:
1. Telarah Holdings Pty Ltd = Barton Director Neil Rose (Resigned 31/06/2023)
2. Gatej Pty Ltd = Barton Company Secretary Alister Blyth [ Resigned 2021 ] + **rielle Blyth
3. Six Fingers Pt. Ltd. as Trustee for Six Fingers Discretionary Trust = Alison Auld & Benjamin Auld
[Managing Director – Mining Plus Pty. Ltd.]
Mining Plus are listed in Barton announcements as the entity who do the resource work for Barton.
All 3 sellers are or were listed as Barton insiders, including a: Director, Company Sec and the Resource Estimation people, and all sharing the same postal address. That address was also by Barton to hold its AGM.
By filing a ceasing to be a significant seller notice, two of them are now under the 5% threshold, and are now free to continue selling millions of shares out, without any further public scrutiny. Unfortunately, not really a good look particularly when the company has run out of cash, has expenditure out of control, has been unsuccessful in raising, and now passing the hat around to mums and dads in another SPP.
