I think so. To me looks like they had a good idea but most of the borrowed shares were just returned?? Hard for retailers unless you have exposure to the broker world IMO. Interesting the ASX and maybe ASIC believe share borrowing is good for liquidity apparently? Don‘t know why they allow it and there‘s plenty of trading options available without borrowing somebody else‘s shares. I imagine there‘s lots of companies adversely affected over time. Super funds might like it but it‘s lazy income for them. It is what it is though.
