I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt, and say that they firmly believe that they can make a go of this project. And not just hoping for a miracle.
Otherwise they are just asset stripping to extend the life of the company in order to maintain jobs and to liquidate as many shares as possible. I can't think of any other reason.
I would like to think that they have the moral fibre to be honest and upfront with investors. It is now more than a month into the quarter, and because of the dire financial outlook, some sort of an announcement would be appropriate. IMO. J L.
