You'd think so, but the intraday volatility is fairly average. Most of the action is done overnight in which case you'd need the position open prior to make the profit.
IMO it seems like a really good candidate for shorting on a pairs trading strategy. Almost every price update I've given, RRL is in the bottom 25% of it's gold sector peers, so it underperforms quite consistently (today again confirming).
US CPI going to have some big impacts tonight on our market tomorrow.
