Agreed, that is why I suspect their intention was not not necessarily to make money on these trades, which raises my cynical side in that they had a broader strategy (shorting etc). I accept this is legal etc, so my beef is more with the ASX, so won't open up that can of worms.
That said in my view Milford sticking its head above the trenches confirms that there have been active strategies in play not consistent with a share price rise consistent with the announcements NEU have made on progress. (Fingers crossed this may be a signal one of the market players is changing strategy on NEU...we can only hope)
