They’re a special situations fund that plays distressed equities. They came in early/mid 2020 (just after covid) as the company was under extreme pressure with no cash and a hefty care and maintenance bill from Nifty. This is no longer a distressed company with close to $200m in cash so they have little business being here. Why they’ve gone about the selling like they have instead of a block trade etc I have no idea.
