Much happier seeing JPM returning borrowed shares. Would prefer to see buying back of shorted shares but maybe this is a start.
I expect this is just more games and nothing much is changing, although there must be a price when shorting doesn’t make economic sense. I don’t think they are running scared of the buyback.
