GOR has seen quite a bit of selling over the last few days .This is due to a realization that it is overvalued relative to its assets.
Its major investment released more bad news hidden in its annual report .Timelines on building the plant are slipping due to permitting not being approved and its now predicted to perhaps be by the end of the year .I mentioned this a long time ago .DEG management is always super optimistic about timelines and cost of building .These timelines are never met and it admits it in small print with no news release but buried in the annual report.
Meantime DEG is spending at a rate of 10 million a month .Its investment in Nove is not doing well as Nove traded at an all time low today .Within a few months they will have to cough up money for Ashburton in the form of stock or shares.
GOR needs additional production and needs to get rid of its unproductive investments like DEG which is not going to be cash flow positive for them for at least 5 and probably more years .
It should not be difficult for them to buy a producing mine or merge with a producer ,if they sell DEG which is a liability for them then they would have plenty of money .They are going nowehere right now ,that is why the share price in a gold bull market is going nowehere.
