Well so much for jupiter.. Sometimes I wonder if they are actually the Jupiter of casino fame the way they shuffle their shares round like a croupier's cards.
Anyway, maybe it was some their shares i picked up recently.. So thanks jupiter for a few extra cheapies.. Ive said that before though and they have since halved since lol..
Still, as far as I can see the plan is still in place, the reasons I bought and like this company are still intact, the prospects if anything have gotten better since I first bought in despite the share price not agreeing with me or reflecting it, so why not grab a few more? lower my average a bit. Plenty of potential news that could likely flip the momentum around and have it going up a lot faster than it came down. The elephant in the room as always is the bank balance but we had a million or so injected into that recently from the valkea deal so, while not huge it at least added to the existing money which is better than a kick in the goolies. Keeps the wolf from the door a bit longer.
Bigger picture to me is that outside of company changing drill results the more generalist investors start to see the profits in the gold miners and the elevating risks in the other sectors then start to rotate a significant amount of their money into alternatives like gold etc to hedge their risks. That seems to have started already but it will probably flow into explorers such as S2R once their increased valuations in step with rising gold market interest will together be a great impetus for buying into the best value minnows like us for strategic and speculative reasons.
S2R would have to be high on the list you'd think, esp on Agnico's shopping list, when you consider things like polonium210's shrewd observations in a recent post here where he highlighted Agnico's unusual omission of the updated long section results for Fosterville/Curie that wasn’t included in the exploration results for their 24 exploration / 25 guidance. Would they rather S2R stay under the radar by not putting out too much detail of their own that shines light on the little company next to them ..so as not to get the market to excited incase they need to buy it later ? Certainly not impossible. Serves them no purpose i can see to help us any more than they already have, given all the exploration money they ploughed into our land before they surrended it to us for cheap. If Agnico added ounces from some part of the fosterville mine.. Well sooner or later our drills will sniff that out if it carries over the border with them onto our ground and im patiently waiting and happy to keep siphoning more of these these shares into my account at the current prices in the meantime, because that will be a game changer if they do.
Sure its possible the SP could take a dip if some of our other hoped for news is less than stellar or even quite good but overwhelmed by the negative mood of the general market forces at the time. That's par for the course .. and the relatively low profile and small amount of volume that we seem to have available here that doesnt help us on the sad days either, unless of course your buying them... but when that levy breaks with good news we have the potential to really fly and thats what were all here for.
I believe this is a sound company and although of course its in the relative doldrums like many others in this sector we are well set to be transformed once one of our many fuses are lit so I'm not going anywhere soon.
Valkea's recent results add a bit of spice to things too, with 45% ownership in that company its just another potential firecracker that could go of at any time for S2R. Despite how quiet it seems at times its still a very interesting little company this one.. Lots happening even if seemingly in slow motion sometimes..
