Dr Soucek now heads her own company in Spain called Peptomyc.
It sort of sums up to me in a sad way why the world cannot yet cure many cancers.
She has the rights to omomyc and is currently trying to find a way to get it into cells. We can get it into cells but dont have commercial rights. Neither one seems to want to work together as they both want all the money for themselves i assume. Bit of a hippy view i know but how many other promising therapies never get to market because individual components are locked up by ip rights.
