I see that CST propose to postpone the date of the SOA meeting.
Does this also mean that the date at which one must own shares to vote is also postponed? If so, this might help them achieve a 'yes' vote, because they might be able to assemble sufficient numbers of 'yes' voting parcels, by whatever means (providing some people continue to sell and large numbers of people do not leave their vote till the meeting which is unlikely). With the company able to watch the online voting, they are well positioned to see when 'yes' has won.
It doesn't seem quite right, though, that this should happen. And afterall, if 3.80 is so attractive why would we need 2 weeks to think about it? And some shareholders might be coming from interstate to the meeting and would have difficulty accommodating a change with such short notice.
