JUST IN, an American multidisciplinary team (researchers and physicians at UCSF ,UC Berkeley, Chan Zuckerberg Biohub, and Innovative Genomics Institute) performed head-to-head comparisons of 14 commercial COVID-19 antibody kits.
The kits were subjected to five periods (1-5 days, 6-10d, 11-15d, 16-20d, >20d) of blood testing for their specificity and sensitivity of IgM and IgG antibodies.
Test kits from Wondfo and Sure were the only two with specificity over 99% whilst the rest hovered around 95% and below. This result implies that Wondfo and Sure kits provided the least false positives (less than 1%).
Wondfo also ranked amongst one of the most sensitive overall between the five periods. However I feel a score of 81.82% (9/11) for last period ( >20 d) provided Wondfo with no justice given the sample size was only 11.
All in all. Wondfo's kits are one of the best in the world with false positives less than 1%, meaning it is one of the safest to use for facilitating back to work programs.
