Easier said than done champ. I'd love for you to tally up everything you have in your house and separate the Chinese made with those that are not.
So please, don't come here and preach about being patriotic and humanitarian when almost everything you have is probably Chinese made.
Also, there is no such thing as essential, only supply and demand. Thus if you had a functional brain and stood for what you said, you wouldn't invest in mining stocks either (which you do from a quick glance at your profile) because all the resources get sold to China anyways.
And yes, money is money. That's why you're a share trader in the first place.
Don't pretend you're morally better when you're most likely worse.
