I believe you have this correct.
Late last week my sister (nurse) attended the Royal Melbourne Hospital covid test clinic.
She was given a swab test and a prick test, the prick test was a ‘trial’ she was told. Unfortunately she wasn’t able to see a manufacturers mark on the test.
Id say government are doing their own basic trial on these things before confirming their order..... with the news that’s been out there about these tests I’d suggest that would be a reasonable thing to do.
