Opuwo has the potential to have a very big resource of cobalt copper and zinc.Any company looking to get into the battery metals need look no further than this area.
The dolomitic ore formation ( DOF ) that hosts the cobalt copper zinc mineralisation has been traced for at least 90 km in length with at least 33 km of it on CLA licences. The Opuwo CLA ore resource covers a length of 13.5 km which leaves 19.5 km still to be tested on CLA ground.
It has been said the key aspect of the DOF hosted mineralisation being its extensive continuity and consistency of mineralisation along strike and to depth.
Taking into account the entire length within CLA licences and covered by adjoining licences held by others. This could be a very big deposit 90 km with 13.5 km drilled for a 225 mt resource which represents only 15% of the total length.
