daza, well called. this reminds me of what a great South African diamond geo said to me years ago when exploring for diamonds in Indonesia: Diamonds are like pigs; they lie where they lie! in the case of diamonds in Indonesia they were mined in the swamps of South East Kalimantan. So if you apply the same thought to cu/au why not the mountains of the Philippines where in fact it is already occurring.
Another comment to bear in mind is from an experienced mining old timer "being that it usually takes a minimum of ten years from discovery to the start of production!" So given the amount of drilling and positive results results conducted by the previous owners, the MCM project is well into the curve and closer to production than being recognised. Once the JORC report is published the that should become more evident.
