This is good news, essentially we will see several holes go into this target over the next few months. Given it is clearly a super large deposit of magmatic sulphides, one of the largest ever discovered, the ongoing drilling increases the odds of finding a zone of copper/nickel mineralised zones within the deposit provided there are any to be found. potentially such as zone would typically be at the bottom of this AMT anomaly, however it appears there may be several pulses of magma having entered the chamber and significant Re mobilisation and potentially resulting in more of a disseminated orebody. However that doesn’t preclude the possibility of massive sulphides at the bottom of the melt. Anyway the current hole should be 400m thick intercept of sulphides, but key will be looking for cpy/pn. Or if a disseminated broad intercept then we would be looking for grades above 0.5% eq as you could still get away with low grade if it’s several billion tonnes of ore with negligible dilution.
