DYOR...the regulatory risk is WAY higher than most think. I speak from experience, I once was holding some Scandinavian Fintech players (payment, peer to peer lending..)whose value got wiped out by more than 30% overnight at the stroke of the regulators who imposed stricter capital and compliance rules, "just like that."If you want more horror stories about how binary those regulatory decisions can be, look no further than FINMA- the Swiss regulator who zeroed 16 billion of AT1 capital on a whim..So that UBS could buy them for pennies on the dollar.Anyway my point is that to hold EML one has to underwrite some unquantifiable risks. Such that some extra capital and oversight kills or renders unprofitable oart of the business...
