tracing back a few stocks that I had followed the multi fold increase happens during clinical readouts - especially when efficacy is to the upside of expectations
PYC has been laboring the point - which I believe and thus backed with $ that a precision medicine pre-clinical strategy focused on monogenic genetic expression - is way ahead of other general medicine/drug success trajectory - ie early data milestones = success to market
in simple terms I think the market doesn’t agree that the pre-clinical results seen to date - such as the test tube CNS efficacy data - or the VP-001 patient derived data - equates to probabilities of a general drug achieving efficacy in their clinical trial phase …
Or maybe the market did believe at one point when we were above 20c - but now wants to wait and see for validation data
in other simple terms the 12 month+ delay in VP-001 timelines is a big drag for us on many fronts - once we get some success there value will translate to rest of our pipeline
