Although the usual suspects are going to try and pick holes in this announcement I am very pleased with it. This is the next piece of the long term puzzle of trying to bring a spec company based in the middle of nowhere and transform it into a profitable company on the ASX. No easy task.

Yes the strategy has changed and evolved and rightly so. Those wishing for a "drill baby drill" strategy to hit the Beverly Hillbilly jackpot are disappointed with this change and continuously rant. I'm not sure if they will ever see that their nonstop whinging is not going to change the direction of the company so more fool them.

Richard Cottee has been given a great deal of credit for the deals he has put together since he has been in control. I'm sure that he would be the first to agree that a lot of this credit needs to go to the companies CFO Leon Devaney. Both he and Cottee worked together on strategy and deals at QGC and they made their shareholders (including me) a great deal of money.

I am more that happy to be patient.
