I hadn't realised how close Nolans is to Alice Springs, this should be a nice little earner for the JV. Usually it's transport costs that kill CTP's margins, especially through NGP but the toll here should be minimal which means more margin. Not a lot of gas coming south from Darwin or Blacktip so the Amadeus was probably ARU's only realistic option, which suggests a good price for the JV, the gross margin could be $3 or more.

Unfortunately 7PJ is only a fairly small volume but it's certainly better than piping it to the easy coast and achieving little more than enriching the pipeline operators.
