Well that was interesting listening to the AGM. The share price action this morning seemed a little exuberant, though it's probably been oversold anyway. I didn't really see too much more in the AGM presentation that shareholders weren't already broadly aware of. But I do like the fact that CCP are able to cushion lower PDL transactions in ANZ by growth in lending. I like that element of diversity. Growth in the U.S. still looks encouraging.
But what I don't like is the fact that CCP do not make the webcast of the AGM available for future viewing or listening. It's a small thing, but having the day off work today gave me the opportunity to tune in. Usually, I miss these webcasts and never get to listen to the questions. It's the questions that are totally unscripted which always provide an interesting insight into the business instead of listening to someone read from a power point presentation.
Just my thoughts.
