IMO the issue is that he was allegedly possibly being blackmailed and there will always be thoughts if he changed company decisions or if information when elsewhere ? ASIC ASX Police etc all need to set out these situations so company directors declare stuff . This is not a good look IMO. It is not about the " smoke" but about the influence / blackmail and continuing to not keep shareholders informed or standing down when he is under duresss? When did board and management become aware?
Just thoughts as shareholder will never know exact facts and timings
