Just be fair in comparison, like the CEO of a gold mining company where customers would knock on their door to buy their gold. $13.2M annual pay package amounts to $1.1M per month. Doug Huey the new CEO has to set up from scratch in USA and to front the FDA and to manage the establishment and running of clinical trials at US$600K (A$900K) per year is CHEAP!
