Not sure if I agree... I think loads of solid candidates would have put up their hand to run Catapult. It's a solid product/service and potential is huge.
What CAT needed was someone who had strong experience growing a brand and sales globally. He was also part of the process when Amazon acquired Audible - that alone is worth its weight in gold.
