Andrew I'm not overly concerned about obtaining tissue specific absorption with systemic administration. Too difficult to achieve. The alternative is to deliver a promising choice via direct arterial organ cannulation as with dye injection for angiograms, though repeated administration could be an issue under that scenario.
Are there any drugs currently in use that have organ/tissue specific pharmacokinetics that do not depend on cell receptors?
