I don't think his retirement is connected to anything sinister. He's decided that's it. Maybe he has some health concerns?
Will it affect the business? In the short term I can't see it. Large contracts have already won and Ken is the best man to help with the transition.
Once he's independent from the business, decisions he makes about his shareholding won't be based on inside information (well you'd hope not).
