CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER MEETS WITH KEY OFFICALS ON
    CAPITOL HILL
Perth, WA and Greer, South Carolina: Alexium International Group Limited (Alexium)
(ASX:AJX, AX:AJX, OTC QX:AXXIY) is pleased to announce that Nicholas Clark, Alexium’s
CEO and Executive Director, continued his meetings with key political members focusing on both
    the commercial and military sectors.
Mr. Clark’s agenda included Senator Tim Scott (R-SC), where he was able to explain the work
being down in the Senator's home state as well as the plan moving forward in both the military
and the consumer markets. Mr. Clark also spent considerable time on the House side of the
Capitol, meeting with , Congressman Mo Brooks (R-AL), Congresswomen Gwen Graham (D-FL),
and Congressman Walter Jones (R-NC) . All of these Members are active on the House Armed
Services Committee, the committee responsible for authorizing funds for the military
After speaking extensively on the need for environmentally friendly and cost effect flame
resistant (FR) military uniforms, Mr. Clark turned his attention to the consumer market by
meeting with Congressman Joe Kennedy (D-MA). Congressman Kennedy sits on the committee
with jurisdiction over the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the government agency
charged with crafting regulations relating to FR materials for use in upholstery and other
    consumer products.
Throughout the dozens of meetings Mr. Clark has had with influential policy makers, one thing
appears certain; elected officials are beginning to understand the importance of introducing an
environmentally-friendly flame retardant chemistry for military and commercial applications
rather than relying on hazardous brominated chemistries.
“The work Alexium is doing in Washington, D.C., not only educates policy makers, but also those
responsible for procuring military uniforms and deciding on best practices in the consumer
marketplace.” stated Mr. Clark. “The recent research showing the harmful effects of brominated
FR treatments has forced industries to find other chemistries, and Alexium has the solutions they
need. I have been extremely encouraged that the research, development and application of
Alexium's unique solution to this problem will be the best in class choice of the government
    moving forward.”

Regarding the military, Alexium sees these meetings as an opportunity to continue its message
about the safety, environmental, and economical advantages of their chemistry versus the
current solution. The current Flame Resistant Army Combat Uniform (FRACU) is made with
inherent fibers, which are more expensive than topically treated uniforms, and as such, they are
only given to soldiers in combat areas. The lower cost of Alexium’s treatment would allow all
soldiers to be outfitted in a flame resistant uniform so they would be protected no matter where
    they travel.
Alexium will keep the market informed as these meetings progress.
