Cash costs per oz - that's one thing... and okay cash costs are forecast to fall under $500/oz.
What about the development costs/oz ?? the tunneling costs through tons of barren rock to reach the 14g/T ore which ultimately dilutes the effective gold grade down to 0.3 g/T or 0.5g/T ?(or whatever it becomes). Development costs may never fall below $1,000/oz... who knows ?
But mention the Development costs for once !! A tunnel is not an asset - it's an expensive hole in the ground and should be treated like a normal cash cost, not be ignored.
Instead of a 20 page presentation - just 1 page with a pie chart will tell the story and what is really going on. i.e. a chart showing cash costs. development costs, admin, exploration drilling, royalty costs etc.. so we can see the whole expensive pie.
If the long term gold price is $1,000/oz .. I can understand maybe the reluctance.
