Even that may be too late as my perception from friends and family ordering at various retailers is Australia Post, Singapore Post's Couriers Please, Australia Post subsidiary StarTrack, Japan Post's Toll and many others are struggling given the mammoth number of online orders placed by Australians.
Given lockdowns in Sydney and Melbourne have ended for the time being, there should be fewer online purchases in 2022 in theory. Delivery delays may discourage some shoppers from using this method. MYR's Click'N'Collect is a handy alternative if one is time poor, but going in store and examining items remains best.
