Just a little more it seems. Certainly a layer of support revealed itself as the price pushed downward towards 40c today. I wonder if takeover rumour's will surface in the new year. Mr Lew and his team at Premier said more than 4 months ago that they had no current intention of making an offer, but recently mentioned that they are on the lookout for struggling companies after Christmas, or companies that will provide value. Some analyst mentioned recently that a takeover offer of anything up to 70 odd cents would still be accretive to PMV shareholders. A few months back WAM advised in media that they valued the company significantly higher than 45c. Surely then at current prices even with a control premium added in, Myer represents great value. Lets wait and see if anyone thinks it is.
