how long have companies tried to solve cancer?
how many have done so?
1000s of attempts. if BP bought every promise they would've lost out on all of those attempts..
so why don't they gamble? well, why would they when they can just buy when it's sureness is firm. pay 10X more when it's gonna pay 100x-1000x over its lifetime.
