I think its taken this long for the market to catch up to what they offer. Less than 10% of networks are layer 2, but that is now growing driven by growth in data volumes.
Not sure I am comfortable with Gemalto purchasing SafeNet and the impact on Senetas. US Defence dept will prefer a US based provider, Gemalto is European, with their main area of operations being France. This was one of the advantages SafeNet had over Thales. Does that now change?
Lumpy business too, can't really just extrapolate growth numbers. But on the plus side any growth should drop down to the bottom line and their market certainly is expanding. Not comfortable with the valuation as yet.
