Yet another example of ASX directors exhibiting greedy,self serving and amoral behaviour with snout in the trough,despite losing the 5th biggest lithium deposit in the world just as it goes into production, with extremely poor returns to shareholders for the deal,and a significant degree of risk remaining for return of all funds..Unbelievable that on top of the $60m+ being paid to Mali that shareholders are also copping Malian CGT tax.
Whereas I do beleive the deal is better than totally losing everything, it certainly looks like ,after the Mali compensation payment, Malian CGT and whatever other nasty little surprises appear that shareholders have lost significantly, so I,m struggling to see why directors should be recieving performance bonuses and additional remuneration.
I will be voting no.
