The second tranche being paid has nought to do with who is sitting in the MD's chair at the time it falls due.
The agreement has been signed and will stand on its merits.
The chances of Simon staying till June next year are twofold IMO, SFA, and none. He'll take his million dollar bonus and do one at the very earliest opportunity to do so. Not a lot of point in having him around on $750k with nought to do.

I'm certainly not in favour of BB being promoted given his history of completely catastrophic decision making. But if the company is planning on going back to cashed up explorer (with say $15 mill) after returning assets to holders then there's no need to pay anyone more than 250k a year for that, then BB can do that I guess (but I'd sell out when it relisted given his track record).
