Jerry Korten is a medical device executive and entrepreneur with a 30-year history of starting, building and exiting companies. He was the CEO of Versamed, Inc. when it was sold to GE Healthcare in 2008. He stayed with GE Healthcare to lead business development for their new Respiratory and Sleep division. He has served on the boards of three medical device companies and is currently a director of iSonea, a next generation mobile application medical device company. His executive experience and functional responsibilities have spanned research and development, engineering, business development and sales. He began his career at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons and started his first company designing research equipment for local area research laboratories. He was the inventor of technology that spun out of Columbia University, Vitaltrends Technology.
